seems like theres a pattern for my blogs (with the old one and this) sometimes, i post one posting after another or go for weeks without making any hullohs. hmph, the postings does not have some kind of consistency in between those two extremes.
oh well :)
anyway, this morning was one of my favorite kind. there are no commitment to the clock and staying in bed as long as i can is purely a guilt-free indulgence.
for those who have not been to my bedroom...on sunny mornings (which is almost everyday), the sun travels across the floor towards my bed, up the side of it then onto the top before it disappears to touch other places. i love being able to lay there and absorb this mode of time.
digitalized clock? whats that?
the moving hands which measures time? hold it off at least for a good chunk of my day because the sun is my time.
for this morning? the sun has not yet touched my bed and it was still on the floor. i laid there awake for a while with old thoughts that brewed my mind and heart during yesterday.

(i will find the artist and give credit that's due)
the interlude was interrupted with mally coming into view.
"hey mom" she smiled.
"hey mally," i replied. we have done this countless times, when the mood is set, its done without any thinking. i lift my blanket and she goes into my arms for our squeeze. *SQUEEEEEZZEEEE*
a shared smile happens...
jahren, came a few seconds later and saw us. he walked over to us and climbed ontop of me, mally then hugged us both. i love this...that when we happen to do this, we arent just hugging "mom" but we hug all of us together. after this blissful moment, jahren slid down to my left and tapped at me.
"momcat, i love you"
*sploosh*

this is why i love being a parent. of course, there are times when i want to go, GAHHH!!!!!!! stop arguing! GODS, do you mind?! and all that but they melt away into nothingness when we share moments that knows love.
damn, im lucky.
